Having said all that our transfer from Palma to PP was fantastic. We compare 1000s of transport providers from around the world to get you where you need to go. Luckily I had the card, and the taxi came straight away no problems, except having to pay an extra 93 euros!!! All very stressful. Friday morning, 7 am, still worried phone resort hopper again. Were last drop off (Aparthotel Duva Pollenca) - bus went via Alcudica and every other place in between.
Had to wait until 3.30pm until another flight had landed before getting on bus. I went down to the taxi rank late on Thursday and managed to find a taxi who could take five and he gave me his card. Landed at Palma at 1.30pm and reported to Resorthoppa desk told to wait outside for bus. We were due to leave at 8am in the morning. I was travelling with my parents and my two children so was concerned if there was a problem how we would get a taxi for 5 of us. Heading to the centre of Majorca, you will find flatter land and the busier towns of Binissalem and Portol. I phoned Resort Hopper 3 times, on the Thursday evening only to be told, all would be ok dont worry. Luckily we were flying with jet2 who had text me the previous day to say the strike maybe going ahead. We also got caught up in the strike on Friday 12th Aug. Thanks a lot - I won't be using them again. He also pointed to the luggage hold and left us to struggle and load our cases.
Resort hoppa palma airport driver#
The hoppa arrived for us about 15 minutes late and we were told off by the driver who said he'd been waiting at the Bahia Pollenca for us and that wasn't where we had been staying! I obviously knew where we'd been staying and wasn't even aware there was another hotel with a similar name! Why would I have given them the wrong hotel name?! The driver was out to argue the toss about this rather than letting us on the bus, even though he had our names on his list.
I did that and was told, rather curtly, that I had already phoned and I had to explain that I needed the time for collection. After waiting for 45 minutes at Palma Airport before the bus departed, we were dropped off in Puerta Pollensa at 10 pm, not at our hotel, and had to ask people for directions as this was our first visit.

We too had a nightmare with Resort Hoppa booked through Travel republic, when we arrived at the desk the very smiley lady told us we had a 10 min wait ( this lady turned out quiet rude to some people waiting ), we then learned that we were waiting for other flights to arrive, talking to one couple they had been there ages, after several times approaching the desk and constantly being told 10 mins.we were picked up 80 mins later others had been waiting longer, 2 little mini buses arrived, after boarding ours our first stop was Cala Dor ( we were going to Cala Bona ) then 5 other stops, took well over 3 hours plus the wait in the airport, it was an absolute nightmare, never ever again.we had also booked Travel taxis for our families to arrive Monday and leave Friday, Mondays was great Fridays pick up arrive at 3.45 after being confirmed it was to be 5.30, the driver was shouting at his passengers and telling them they had 2 mins, they went as luckily our family were ready and in our room.there flight wasnt till 9.My daughter and I have recently used Resort Hoppa from Palma Airport to Puerta Pollenca and return.
